Nursery

A deeply personal project, designing my son’s nursery as a first-time mom and designer. Rather than committing to a specific theme, I wanted the space to simply have that feeling, calm, comforting, and timeless. This opened the door to a more textural and layered approach. I wrapped the room and recessed ceiling in a soft linen wallpaper, setting the tone for a neutral palette of greys, blues, whites, and oak. The Stokke crib and changing table were the foundation, complemented by a high-backed rocking chair for those quiet, late-night moments. A plush rug underfoot, curated bookshelves with a subtle Peter Rabbit nod, and playful pieces like a racer car were chosen for both beauty and function, creating a space for our little boy to grow, rest, and dream.
